Huawei band 2,band 2 pro launched in India

After launching the Honor Band 3 this year, Huawei has now launched the Band 2, Band 2 Pro alongside Huawei Fit in India. Both the fitness bands will be available across all major cities and on ecommerce destinations as well. The Huawei Fit is priced at Rs 9,999 while the Band 2 is priced at Rs 4599. The Huawei Band 2 is also available in a Pro variant with standalone GPS and this retails at Rs 6,999. The Band 3 also comes with a breathing coach which reminds users to breathe better across the day.
   The Huawei Fit is available in two sizes and three colors including Black, Blue and Orange. The Huawei Fit offers continuous heart rate monitoring, multisport modes, smart notifications and. water resistance. Furthermore, the Huawei Fit also offers a daily activity tracking that would track one’s activity and the calories burned. Most importantly the Huawei Fitness comes with a Sleep monitoring feature which also measures REM cycle in order to determine the quality of sleep.
   The Huawei Band 2 Pro offers VO2Max measurement. The VO2Max adds an advanced touch to the health monitoring features and it accesses the amount of oxygen your body can take and use as energy. Now, this is an important stat since it is a key indicator of how your body capacity is improving. The Huawei Band calculates the data by analysing the stats from your workouts which is eventually compared with the heart rate. Huawei has apparently partnered with Firstbeat Technology, a company that promises 95-percent accuracy in its readings.
    The Huawei Band 2 is available in smart black and bold red. The Huawei Band 2 Pro with standalone will reduce your reliance on the smartphone and measure distance and speed more accurately. Users will also be able to share their fitness routine with their friends. The Sleep tracking feature also gives active advice in order to improve the sleep quality.

Honor holly 4 plus launched in India

The Honor Holly 4 Plus has been announced in India. The news arrived via press release earlier today, with new handset set to officially go on sale tomorrow. The Holly 4 Plus is a larger, more powerful version of the Holly 4 released earlier this month, arriving with some improved features and a higher price tag to match.It houses a 5.5-inch, 2.D Glass display at 720p resolution, octa-core Snapdragon 435 processor, 3 GB Of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage space (expandable via microSD card slot). On the back, you’ll find a fingerprint scanner and a 12 MP rear camera with 1.25-micron sensor — something which should offer superior quality photos in low-light. Meanwhile, there’s an 8 MP camera up front coming with beauty mode and a 0.3-second autofocus. Other camera features include slow-motion timelapse and PRO mode.

The Holly 4 Plus will run Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box with EMUI 5.1 on top, and will carry a 4,000 mAh battery (up almost 1,000 mAh on the 3,020 mAh cell in the Honor Holly 4). Honor says this should be good for “20 hours video playback, 66 hours music playback or 15 hours of 4G web surfing.”

If you’re interested in that larger display and battery, as well as the improved camera tech of the Holly 4 Plus, you’ll have to shell out ₹13,999 (~$215) — up from the ₹11,999 (~$185) price tag of the Honor Holly 4. It will be sold at all offline Honor stores in Grey, Gold and Silver.

Redmi Y1 launched in India

China's Xiaomi has launched its first selfie-centric smartphone series, Redmi Y, to counter companies like OPPOvivo and Nubia that have been focusing on the camera phone category in India
Under the new category, the company has launched two smartphones variants - Redmi Y1 and Redmi Y1 Lite. 
These devices will be available through ecommerce major Amazon and Mi store from November 8, 2017. Furthermore, customers can purchase it from an offline channel. 
Redmi Y1 comes equipped with a 16 MP front camera, coupled with LED selfie flash, and 13 MP PDAF rear camera. It features 5.5 inch HD display, and is powered by QualcommSnapdragon 435 octa-core processor. 
The 3GB+32 GB storage variant is priced at Rs 8,999, whiel the 4GB and 64 GB variant is priced ta Rs 10,999. 
  The Redmi Y Lite features a 5.5 inch HD display, and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor. It features 3080 mAh batteryir features 13MP rear camera. 
The 2GB + 16GB variant of Redmi Y 1 Lite is priced at Rs 6,999 in India. 
The company has also launched MIUI 9, which is the latest custom Android ROM, and will be available starting mid-November. 
Xiaomi has tied-up with Idea Cellular to offer 280 GB of free 4G data to customer buying these new smartphones.

Nokia launches Nokia 2 with 4000 mAh battery

HMD Global has launched the Nokia 2entry-level Android smartphone in the Indian market as it looks to tap the lower end of the market. The company is touting the 4100mAh battery that delivers up to 2 days of juice and premium design with polycarbonate body and 6000 Series Aluminium frame as the highlights of the smartphone. Nokia 2 also has a 5-inch HD (720x1280px) LTPS display that HMD Global says is best-in-class, with 1:1300 contrast ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. India is a very important market for the Nokiabrand, the company said, and is among the top three countries globally in terms of Nokia activations since the relaunch. HMD Global said it plans to make Nokia phones available in 100,000 stores across India by the end of the year.

Nokia 2 price in India has not been revealed yet; the company only revealed that it will bear a global average price of EUR 99 (roughly Rs. 7,500), and will become available mid-November. At this price, the handset will compete against the likes of Xiaomi Redmi 4A and Moto C. With the Nokia 2, HMD Global looking to address the $100-$150 (roughly Rs. 6,500 to Rs. 9,700) segment, which the company says accounts for 17 percent volume of the global smartphone market, and over 30 percent volume of the Indian smartphone market.

In the $100-$150 segment, HMD Global cites a survey by Qualcomm and Counterpoint that finds battery life is the single most desired (97 percent of respondents) quality of a smartphone, followed by display size and quality, 4G LTE connectivity, and a good camera. The segment usually sees first-time smartphone users, looking to upgrade from their feature phones, with Qualcomm President Larry Paulson adding that 600 million users are expected to upgrade this year.
