Huawei Sub-brand Honor has recently launched a new smartphone Honor Play which is exclusively available on Amazon.

Specifications:-

1. Display and design- This phone looks similar to Honor 9i which was launched last year.Honor play comes with display size of 6.3 inch with 1080*2340 pixel resolution.Aspect ratio of this Honor phone is 19:9 along with a notch.On the back,the design looks like any other Honor phone with vertically dual camera along with rear fingerprint sensor.The pixel density of display is 409 ppi which is bright enough in direct sunlight.

2. Hardware- Honor play is powered by Kirin 970 AI chipset which is clocked at 2.36 GHz ( four cortex-A73 cores) and 1.8 GHz ( four cortex-A53 cores).Kirin 970 is much similar to Snapdragon 845,both chipset are based on semiconductor size of 10 nm.This phone comes with a GPU turbo that improves performance by 60% and also decreases power consumption by 30% as claimed by Honor.

3. Camera- This phone features a dual rear 16MP+2MP AI camera that can identify 22 different categories in real time.On the front,there is 16MP AI camera.Honor play is capable to record video upto 4K.There is also EIS stabilizer in this smartphone.

4. Battery and Connectivity- Honor play is powered by a battery of 3750 mAh.It comes with USB type-C with a fast charger of 18 watt.On network side,it comes with a hybrid dual nano SIM slots.

5. Pricing- Honor play 4GB+64GB variant is available at price of Rs 19,999 and 6GB
+ 64GB variant is priced at Rs 23,999.At this price this smartphone is a deal breaker.

Andorid O update available for Lenovo k8 Plus and K8 Note

Finally Lenovo has rolled out OTA update of Android Oreo for Lenovo k8 Plus and K8 Note user.
       Lenovo k8 plus and K8 Note which was launched in the mid of the year 2017 has started receiving OTA update.During its launch event Lenovo has promised monthly security update and Android Oreo update in the month of June-July.
       Although Lenovo has failed to deliver monthly security update and after upgrading to Android Oreo this phone is running on May security patch level. Lenovo is going to launch its most awaited smartphone Z5 soon in India.
This smartphone was launched earlier in the month of June in China pricing around  CNY 1,200 near about Rs 13-14K in India.
    Lenovo Z5 is powered by Snapdragon 636 with dual 16MP+ 8MP camera with AI feature.According to Lenovo post on
Weibo this smartphone sold out in just 50 seconds in China.

Honor View 10 is going to be launched on 8th January

Huawei sub-brand Honor is going to launch honor view 10(V 10) on 8th January.Recently Honor has also launched Honor 7X which is exclusively available on Amazon.
        This is the first smartphone which comes with dual 4G and dual volte support.It means we can use jio as well as other companies volte network.

Huawei band 2,band 2 pro launched in India

After launching the Honor Band 3 this year, Huawei has now launched the Band 2, Band 2 Pro alongside Huawei Fit in India. Both the fitness bands will be available across all major cities and on ecommerce destinations as well. The Huawei Fit is priced at Rs 9,999 while the Band 2 is priced at Rs 4599. The Huawei Band 2 is also available in a Pro variant with standalone GPS and this retails at Rs 6,999. The Band 3 also comes with a breathing coach which reminds users to breathe better across the day.
   The Huawei Fit is available in two sizes and three colors including Black, Blue and Orange. The Huawei Fit offers continuous heart rate monitoring, multisport modes, smart notifications and. water resistance. Furthermore, the Huawei Fit also offers a daily activity tracking that would track one’s activity and the calories burned. Most importantly the Huawei Fitness comes with a Sleep monitoring feature which also measures REM cycle in order to determine the quality of sleep.

Honor holly 4 plus launched in India

The Honor Holly 4 Plus has been announced in India. The news arrived via press release earlier today, with new handset set to officially go on sale tomorrow. The Holly 4 Plus is a larger, more powerful version of the Holly 4 released earlier this month, arriving with some improved features and a higher price tag to match.It houses a 5.5-inch, 2.D Glass display at 720p resolution, octa-core Snapdragon 435 processor, 3 GB Of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage space (expandable via microSD card slot). On the back, you’ll find a fingerprint scanner and a 12 MP rear camera with 1.25-micron sensor — something which should offer superior quality photos in low-light. Meanwhile, there’s an 8 MP camera up front coming with beauty mode and a 0.3-second autofocus. Other camera features include slow-motion timelapse and PRO mode.

The Holly 4 Plus will run Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box with EMUI 5.1 on top, and will carry a 4,000 mAh battery (up almost 1,000 mAh on the 3,020 mAh cell in the Honor Holly 4). Honor says this should be good for “20 hours video playback, 66 hours music playback or 15 hours of 4G web surfing.”

If you’re interested in that larger display and battery, as well as the improved camera tech of the Holly 4 Plus, you’ll have to shell out ₹13,999 (~$215) — up from the ₹11,999 (~$185) price tag of the Honor Holly 4. It will be sold at all offline Honor stores in Grey, Gold and Silver.

Redmi Y1 launched in India

China's Xiaomi has launched its first selfie-centric smartphone series, Redmi Y, to counter companies like OPPO, vivo and Nubia that have been focusing on the camera phone category in India. 
Under the new category, the company has launched two smartphones variants - Redmi Y1 and Redmi Y1 Lite. 
These devices will be available through ecommerce major Amazon and Mi store from November 8, 2017. Furthermore, customers can purchase it from an offline channel. 
Redmi Y1 comes equipped with a 16 MP front camera, coupled with LED selfie flash, and 13 MP PDAF rear camera. It features 5.5 inch HD display, and is powered by QualcommSnapdragon 435 octa-core processor. 
The 3GB+32 GB storage variant is priced at Rs 8,999, whiel the 4GB and 64 GB variant is priced ta Rs 10,999. 
  The Redmi Y Lite features a 5.5 inch HD display, and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor. It features 3080 mAh batteryir features 13MP rear camera. 
The 2GB + 16GB variant of Redmi Y 1 Lite is priced at Rs 6,999 in India. 
The company has also launched MIUI 9, which is the latest custom Android ROM, and will be available starting mid-November. 
Xiaomi has tied-up with Idea Cellular to offer 280 GB of free 4G data to customer buying these new smartphones.
