Samsung has launched its budget smartphone J2 (2017) in India. The new galaxy J2 is a little bit smaller in comparison to J2 (2016) version.

Samsung Galaxy J2 (2017) features a 4.7 inch QHD super AMOLED display. It comes with 1 GB of ram with internal storage of 8 GB expandable upto 128 GB via a microSD card. It runs on android 7.0 based MIUI 8 custom OS.
           In terms of camera it comes with 5 MP rear camera and 2 MP front facing camera whereas Galaxy J2 (2016) version comes with 8 MP rear camera and 2 MP front facing camera.
      Samsung Galaxy J2 (2017) is powered
by a battery of 2000 mAh whereas J2(2016) model was powered by battery of 2600 mAh . There is no fingerprint sensor present in the J2 (2017) . It comes with other features like volte support,Wi-Fi, Bluetooth.
      It comes with some interesting feature like smart manager and Ultra data saving mode . According to company,
Ultra data saving mode can be used to save data upto 50%. Samsung has priced the Galaxy J2(2017) at Rs 7,390.

Honor 9i:-

Earlier this week, Huawei's sub-brand Honor launched a new smartphone in India called Honor 9i. Priced at Rs 17,999 the smartphone is now available for purchase via Flipkart. Honor 9i is powered by the company s home-grown Hisilicon Kirin 659 chipset. The company claims that Honor 9i is the first smartphone in India to offers four-camera set-up along with a FullView FHD+ Display.
The first sale of Honor 9i is coinciding with the Big Diwali Sale and you can buy the smartphone between October 14-17. The smartphone is currently only available in a Prestige Gold color. Flipkart along with Honor India is offering launch offers where a customer can avail an exchange discounts of up to Rs 17,000. Flipkart is also offering a buyback value of Rs 9,000 for the smartphone. Apart from this, the Honor 9i will also be available for purchase with 10 percent instant discount when making the payment using HDFC Bank Credit or Debit card. An additional 5 percent discount can also be availed if you buy the phone using an Axis Bank Buzz Credit card.
Speaking about the smartphone's highlight, the Honor 9i sports a combination of 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel front cameras. The front cameras are equipped with smart selfie tone flash which adjusts the lighting required while taking a photo. At the rear, the smartphone houses a 16-megapixel and 2-megapixel dual-camera setup. Another talking point of the Honor 9i is its edge-to-edge display. The smartphone features a 5.9-inch FullView full HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio.

Nokia 8:-

Nokia 8 is now available for sale on Amazon. The model is priced at Rs 36,999. Polished Blue and Steel are the two colour variants available.
   Those who are planning to buy the Steel colour variant will receive their device soon after placing the order. Those who are looking forward to the Polished Blue variant may have to wait till 16 October for it to be in stock. In the meantime, the users can place their order and wait for it to be delivered.
Other than this, the Nokias with a special offer of 100 GB of 4G internet data via Reliance Jio. However, as per Amazon, this offer would be available from 14 October onwards. To activate this, the user has to download the MyJio Application.

Here the user can use the front and rear cameras simultaneously to take an image or a video. 4K streaming capabilities have been employed along with Nokia OZO Audio for 360 degree spatial recording. OZO is the name for Nokia’s audio and VR recording platform.

Mi Mix 2:-
  The Mi MIX 2 smartphone with 5.99-inch bezel-less display and 18:9 aspect ratio and flagship-class features and specifications has been launched in India. Xiaomi's first premium smartphone in India since the Mi 5 about a year and a half ago, the Mi MIX 2 in India is available in ceramic + aluminium 'regular' configuration; the Xiaomi MI MIX 2 Special Edition with an all-ceramic body and 8GB of RAM not making its way to the country. The Mi MIX 2 is a Flipkart exclusive, though it will also be available via mi.com, Mi Home stores, and Xiaomi retail partners.
  The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 price in India is Rs. 35,999, and at that price, it competes with the OnePlus 5, Nokia 8, and LG G6. The company has launched the Mi MIX 2 in its 6GB RAM, 128GB storage variant in the country, with no mention of whether the other variants will be brought here as well. The smartphone will be available via Flipkart and Mi.com in a preview sale on October 17. The smartphone's general availability will begin in the first week of November, and it will then go on sale via Mi Home and other offline retailer partners in addition. There are no Mi MIX 2 launch offers as such, beyond a zero percent EMI offer, which will be available via all retail channels, the Xiaomi's Manu Jain said at the launch event.
      The dual-SIM (Nano) Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 runs MIUI 9 based on Android 7.0 Nougat. It sports a 5.99-inch full-HD+ (1080x2160 pixels) LCD dispay, and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC that's coupled with 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM. The dual-SIM (Nano-SIM) smartphone sports a 12-megapixel Sony IMX386 rear camera sensor with 1.25-micron pixels, 4-axis optical image stabilisation, 5-piece lens, an f/2.0 aperture, as well as a facial recognition feature. On the front, it bears a 5-megapixel front camera, also with the facial recognition function that can be used to unlock the smartphone.
  As for storage, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 variant launched in India bears  128GB of storage that is not expandable. Connectivity options on the Mi MIX 2 smartphone include 4G (support for 43 LTE bands), VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11c, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and USB Type-C. Sensors on board include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, barometer, digital compass, gyroscope, and ultrasonic proximity sensor. The smartphone runs on a 3400mAh battery, measures 151.8x75.5x7.7mm, and weighs 185 grams.
As we mentioned, the biggest highlight of the Mi MIX 2 is its 5.99-inch bezel-less LCD display that has a full-HD+ resolution (1080x2160 pixels) in an 18:9 aspect ratio. The company says the display has a pixel density of 403ppi, and is complete with DCI-P3 colour gamut support. The smartphone has minimal bezels on three sides, with only a 'bottom chin' that sports the front camera and other sensors.
With no top bezel to house the earpiece, the company has decided to use a 'hidden sound-guided speaker' that resonates sound through the display and frame. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 bears a ceramic body with a 7-Series aluminium frame and an 18K gold plated camera ring on the rear panel.

Honor 7X :-

The Honor 7X is now official, with Huawei's subsidiary launching the handset on October 11 just as rumours predicted. The Honor 7X features an 18:9, 5.93in full-front display with a 1,080 x 2,160 pixel resolution at 407ppi.
The camera is another standout feature; a dual-sensor primary appears to be using a similar setup to what will show up on the Huawei Mate 10 Lite; a 16MP and 2MP combo, plus a solo 8MP secondary on the front.
  In the CPU department you're looking at a Huawei homebrew Kirin 659 octa-core chip, with eight ARM Cortex-A53 cores and a Mali-T830 MP2 GPU, plus 4GB of RAM. Storage options include 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB, and it supports microSD expansion. Meanwhile, the battery is rated at 3,340mAh.
     The software package is Android Nougat 7.1 with Huawei's Emotion UI on top, build EMUI 5.1.
At the moment, the Honor 7X has only been confirmed for the Chinese market, where it will hit retail on October 17, however, we have a strong suspicion it will become more widely available. Based on the Chinese prices, it may retail in Europe for €170 (32GB), €220 (64GB), and €260 (128GB).
In addition, we've heard word that another Honor handset is being launched on December 5. Honor has begun issuing invitations to an event in London on that date, with an image which clearly shows a full edge-to-edge, bezel-less display and the slogan "Max Your View". The hashtag in the bottom corner also seems to be used for devices with dual-sensor cameras.
This could be referring to enhanced camera capabilities, which may or may not involve the Leica branded camera hardware seen on the Huawei Mate and Huawei P flagships.
Alternatively, it may be a reference to the firm's EntireView display brand also seen on those flagships, which is an edge-to-edge 18:9 aspect ratio display keeping up with the trend laid by Samsung, LG, and now Apple with the iPhone X.

Honor 6c pro:-
Huawei has quietly launched the Honor 6C Pro smartphone in Russia, the bigger sibling of the mid-range Honor 6C the company launched earlier this year. Even as the Honor 6C Pro looks identical to the Honor 6C, there are some noticeable changes.

The Honor 6C Pro runs Android 7.0 Nougat with company's homegrown EMUI 5.1 skin atop. It will come in Black, Gold and Blue colour options. The Honor 6C Pro is priced at EUR 179 (roughly Rs. 13,750). It will be first available in European markets.
It features a 5.2-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) display in a unibody form factor. The Honor 6C Pro is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 clocked at 1.5GHz with Mali-T860MP2 GPU, and 3GB of RAM.
On the photography front, you're looking at a 13-megapixel rear camera with an aperture of f/2.2 and autofocus capability. On the front end, there is an 8-megapixel sensor for selfie enthusiasts on the Honor 6C Pro.
On the storage front, the Honor 6C Pro ships with 32GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 128GB). There is a standard Micro-USB port, a headphone jack on top, and a fingerprint scanner on the back as well.

Lenovo k8 :-
Lenovo K8 has finally launched in India, after the company launched its Note and Plus variants in the budget segment. The company announced the offline only phone via Twitter on Tuesday.

Lenovo K8 is the cheapest of the three smartphones -- the K8, the K8 Note and the K8 Plus and unlike the other two, don't come with dual cameras at the back. That is the only big differentiator which also brings down the price of the Lenovo K8, albeit very slightly.
The phone sports a unibody design very similar to the new Lenovo K8 Plus -- not all-metal like the K8 Note -but with plastic inserts at the top and bottom on the back. It packs a 4000mAh battery, measures 8.5mm thick and weighs 165g. There is also a dedicated music key on the left.
The Lenovo K8 runs on a Mediatek Helio P20 platform, that has an Octa core processor clocked at 2.3GHz, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage, expandable via microSD card. In terms of network, the dual SIM phone supports 4G VoLTE.
Like the K8 Plus, the K8 has a 5.2-inch IPS HD display with 2.5D curved glass on top, but it isn't confirmed by the company if it is the same Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
At the back, the Lenovo K8 has a fingerprint scanner, just beneath the single camera with an LED flash. An LED flash accompanies the front camera as well. While the rear camera has a 13-megapixel sensor, the front camera has an 8-megapixel shooter.
Out of the box, the Lenovo K8 runs Android 7.1.1 OS with stock interface. Lenovo has forever abandoned its Vibe UI in favour of the much smoother stock interface. Both the K8 Plus and the K8 Note as well come with the same interface. Though, it is not clear if Lenovo will update the phone to Android 8.0 Oreo, like the other two.
As for the features, the Lenovo K8 comes with DOLBY ATMOS surround sound but misses out on Theater Max present on other two models. It has Gravity, Proximity, Light, E-compass and Gyro sensors on-board.
Like the Lenovo K8 Plus and the K8 Note, the Lenovo K8 will be available in Venom Black and Fine Gold colours.

The smartphone comes in three variants- one with 4GB RAM and 32 GB of internal storage at 1299 Yuan, another with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage at 1699 Yuan, while the third one has 4GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage and it costs 1999 Yuan.

Airtel offer Rs 495 plan to new customers

Airtel has announced Rs 495 plan to new prepaid customer.

Recently,Airtel has announced a new plan of Rs 495 . However this plan is limited to new prepaid customer. In this plan Airtel is offering unlimited calling to local and std network with 1 GB data per day. Validity of this plan is 84 days .It means user will get 84 GB data.
    This plan is similar to Jio Rs 399 pack. Jio is also offering unlimited calling ( local and std ) and 84 GB of data (1 GB data per day) valid for 84 days. But Airtel is limiting the duration of calling to 300 minutes per day in Rs 495 plan. Airtel has announced many plan similar to Jio starting from Rs 199 .
     Idea has also announced similar Rs 495 plan with unlimited calling and 84 GB data (1 GB per day) .This plan is also valid for 84 days .
   Recently Telecom Regulatory Authority of India has released its data on the upload and download speeds of telecom operators in the country. For the month of September, Reliance Jio leads the pack with 18.433 mbps. It is followed by Vodafone on a distant second with 8.999 mpbs. When it comes to 3G Vodafone is on the top of list with 8.746 mbps followed by Airtel with 3.158 mbps.

Mi A1 vs Moto g5s plus :- Battle of two mid- range smartphone

A lot of smartphone have been launched in this year . In this block I am comparing two most selling smartphone ,Mi A1 and moto g5s plus.

Design and looks :-
Both smartphone have metal unibodies and  dual rear cameras. Mi A1 is 2 mm taller and 3 grams heavier than moto g5s plus but it doesn't make a difference in real world. The main difference is in the location of fingerprint scanner .Mi A1 has scanner at its back whereas moto g5s plus have scanner on the chin of phone,under the display .
       In my opinion Mi A1 looks better than Moto g5s plus.

Specifications :-
In terms of specification both phone are quite similar . Both phones have 5.5 inch full HD display with Gorilla Glass protection. Both phones are powered by snapdragon 625 with 4 GB of ram and 64 GB of internal storage . Both have hybrid SIM slot.

Software:-
Both phones run on android nougat. Both runs on stock android . But Mi A1 is the official android one device. Mi claims that this smartphone will get confirmed upgrade to android Oreo and android P.
    In my opinion Mi A1 is better than moto g5s plus in terms of software.

Battery :-
Mi A1 is powered by a battery of 3080 mAh and moto g5s plus with 3000 mAh battery. Xiaomi Mi A1 has a USB type C cable whereas moto g5s plus has normal USB port.
   Here Mi A1 is clear winner due to USB type c cable.

Camera :-
Both smartphone has dual camera at the rear side. Moto G5S Plus uses one 13-megapixel RGB sensor and one 13-megapixel monochrome sensor, whereas Mi A1 has two 12 Megapixel sensor with telephoto lenses and wide angel camera.
Low light photography is better in Moto g5s plus .

Final opinion:-
Both phones are good in their respective price but in my opinion Mi A1 is slightly better than Moto g5s plus due to Android one device and also has guarantee of software upgrades. The Xiaomi Mi A1 also has an IR emitter which is not present in Moto g5s plus.

Jio phone terms and conditions : You will have to spend Rs 4500 to get refund

Reliance jio recently released terms and conditions for the customer who have booked jio phone.

Jio has finally started delivering of jio phone. According to company,those living in rural area will get the jio phone first.
Here is the list of terms and conditions recently released by jio:-

1. In order to get refund of Rs 1,500 after 3 years,customer will have to spend minimum Rs 4,500 on recharge it means jio phone user should make recharge of Rs 1,500 per year.

2. Jio SIM is locked it means you can not use SIM of any other company in this phone.

3. This phone is not transferable and also user can not sell this phone.

4. Users who will return phone before 12 month need to pay Rs 1,500 and also extra taxes.

5. User who wish to return phone between 12 -24 months,need to pay Rs 1,000 plus taxes .

6. Used who wish to return phone between 24-36 months ,need to pay Rs 500 plus taxes.

7. To get refund users must return the phone to company before 39 month from the date of purchasing.

One plus 5 goes out of stock in US:- Is one plus 5T or one plus 6 coming ?

According to phoneArena all models of one plus 5 are out of stock in US and in other market it is very limited in stock.

Jio effect :- Idea launches Rs 198 plan

Many cellular companies are launching new plans after facing tough competition from Jio. Idea has launched a new plan at Rs 198 to compete with Airtel Rs 199 plan and Reliance Jio Rs 149 plan.. Company is offering unlimited local and std calling to any network with 1 GB 3G data valid for 28 days .However calling duration is limited to 300 min per day.

The battle between jio and Airtel seems very interesting. Earlier in this month jio launches a Rs 799 plan for its iPhone user. Jio is providing unlimited calling  with 3 GB data/day valid for 28 days .
Now Airtel has also launched a similar plan for its prepaid user for Rs 799. Airtel users will get 84 GB data valid for 28 days i.e. 3 GB data /day with unlimited std and local calling.
Recently according to opensignal's report jio is largest network in India but 4g speed of Airtel is more than that of jio.

According to a report by opensingnal's Airtel is still on the top when it comes to average 3G and 4G downloading speed.

Similar to honor 8 pro it has dual camera at the rear side (20 MP + 12 MP ) . At the front side there is an 8 MP camera for selfie .

From honor official twitter page it is confirmed that smartphone will be available in different color variant. Earlier this smartphone was launched in China .Honor 9 will be exclusively available on  flipkart.

Nokia smartphone will get android P update

HMD Global,manufacturer of Nokia has confirmed that its current device will get android P update. Current devices like Nokia 3 , Nokia 5, Nokia 6 and Nokia 8 will get android P update in the future. During the launch of its smartphone the company has already promised that it will provide regular security update .

Recently Nokia has launched its new smartphone Nokia 8 in India at Rs 36,999.
This smartphone is exclusively available on amazon from 14 October in India.

Honor holly 4 launched in India

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Huawei has launched its new smartphone Honor holly 4 in India at Rs 11,999. This smartphone features a 5 inch HD display, powered by snapdragon 430.  It comes with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage expandable upto 128 GB through a micorSD card. The phone sports a 13 megapixel rear camera with some features like PDAF support, Timelapse, slowmotion. On the front there is 5 megapixel camera for selfie. The device runs on android 7.1 Nougat based on EMUI 5.1 . It has a battery of 3020 mAh. It also support other features like volte,OTG support.

Let's see this smartphone is upgradable to android O or not.However Honor has already promised Oreo update for honor 8 pro and honor 6x.
